This gorgeous space has been lovingly restored and modernized for your comfort and ultimate relaxation. We are moments from the heart of Wellington, the best wineries, North Beach, and all of the other local hot spots.
Your living space is the entire ‘sanctuary’ – 1400 square feet of open space in the front of the church. I live in the attached Sunday School with my son, partner, and (extremely quiet) dog.
This is a very special space, and we hope that you will love it as much as we do. Our church was built in the 1800s, and we have worked hard to maintain much of its charm. You will live in the ‘Sanctuary’. Your bed is on the altar (king sized!), and we have a lovely pull-out murphy bed with a memory foam mattress for couples or families traveling together.
We invite couples and friends looking for a gorgeous and relaxing home base in The County. We have a lovely little yoga corner with mats, bolsters, blankets, and even an aromatherapy diffuser. The bathtub is a huge soaker built into a little nook under the choir. There is also a full (private) shower and toilet area. We have a kitchenette with a bar fridge, one cooking element, and a convection toaster oven (you can definitely cook a modest meal here!). We also supply you with a french press and a chemex (complete with filters, a scale, and a grinder) for all the coffee nerds out there!
